Great news! I am pleased to announce the publication of the sixth novel in the Beppe Stancato series of novels. Our Commissario is faced with a dilemma. He is being given the opportunity of promotion but is reluctant to abandon his role as an ‘ordinary’ chief inspector. He is saved from having to make an immediate decision when the body of a young woman is discovered. He and his colleagues are shocked to discover the hand of the Calabrian mafia in this disturbing case of murder.
Beppe’s personal involvement in this case leads him once again into a life-threatening situation at the hands of a ruthless mafia boss. He is ‘rescued’ at the eleventh hour. His unexpected ‘saviour’ has a very unusual request. What path will the commissario take?
